Ingredientes

  • 20 oz. Tasteful Selections® potatoes, halved
  • 1 lb. carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • ½ tsp. salt

Instructions

  • Place carrots and onions in a large pot, cover with 2 cups of water; cover and cook until onions and carrots are soft.
  • Using a slotted spoon, remove carrots and onions from water and set aside.
  • Add potatoes to the carrot and onion water, uncovered, cook the potatoes until they are tender and easily pierced with a knife.
  • Drain potatoes, add potatoes, carrots and onions back to the pot, still in butter and salt and mash.

Recipe Tips

Season to your liking with more salt and pepper; serve alongside smoked sausage or topped with cooked bacon.
