Meet Chef Jack
Chef Jack Witherspoon started cooking at age 6 during recovery from cancer treatment. Jack was first diagnosed with leukemia at 2 years old; Jack had his first relapse at 6, and relapsed again at 11, when he received a bone marrow transplant.
Already in his short career, Chef Jack has been featured on both talk shows and cooking shows. Chef Jack published his own cookbook in 2011, “Twist It Up,” including 60 of his favorite original recipes.

Potato and Corn Chowder

Directions: In a large stock pot, add the first six ingredients, along with the bacon drippings. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until potatoes and vegetables are tender.
