Tasteful Selections Showcases Sustainability Efforts to Members of Western Caucus
On May 13th, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting Rep. Valadao and other members of the Western Caucus at Tasteful Selections. Led by Rep. David Valadao (CA-22), our guests included Vice Chair Jay Obernolte (CA-23), and Representatives Burgess Owens (UT-04), Russ Fulcher (ID-01), and John Duarte (CA-13).
This visit was a fantastic chance to discuss the critical role of rural broadband for farmers and small businesses with local leaders, including Bakersfield’s Mayor Karen Goh. We proudly showcased our commitment to sustainable farming and our innovative production operations in the Central Valley.
During the tour, we highlighted our cutting-edge water clarifying systems designed to maximize water efficiency, and our impressive 3.6 megawatt microgrid that supplies clean power to our plant.
The visit also included a tour of Grimmway Farms and an insightful briefing on water access and management by the Friant Water Authority.
