- 3 c. Tasteful Selections® potatoes, diced
- ½ yellow onion, chopped
- ½ tsp. minced garlic
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. milk
- 3 tbsp. butter
- ¼ c. flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional toppings:- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Bacon, cooked & crumbled
- Chopped scallions

Instructions
Place potatoes & chicken broth in large Dutch oven or pot. Bring to boil & cook until fork tender, about 10 minutes. While potatoes are cooking, melt butter in saucepan; add onions & sauté until translucent, then stir in garlic & sauté another minute or two. Whisk in flour, then add milk & cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until thickened. Add mixture to Dutch oven. If you prefer your soup chunky, you're ready to add your toppings & serve; for a smoother consistency, use immersion blender or food processor for about 20-30 seconds. Top with cheese, bacon & scallions.
